Judge William A. Fears

Judge Fears is a native of Butts County, Georgia, where he practiced law from 1985 until 2003.  On September 2, 2003, Governor Sonny Perdue appointed Judge Fears to the Superior Court Bench in the Towaliga Judicial Circuit.  Judge Fears has an extensive background in trial work including both civil and criminal jury trials, and has experience in governmental law.  Judge Fears is the former Vice President of the Towaliga Bar Association and past President of the previous Flint Bar Association. Judge Fears is the founding judge on the Towaliga Accountability Courts, having served in the role since 2003. 

 

An active member of the community, Judge Fears  volunteers his time for various civic activities including the Butts County Recreation Department.  He is also a member of the Butts County Rotary Club and the Daughtry Foundation Board of Trustees, as well as an active member and former Deacon of the First Baptist Church in Jackson.

 

Judge Fears has been married to the former Joyce Lewis, a native of Jackson, Georgia, for more than 20 years and they have two children.

Steven Giglio, Director

Steven Giglio brings to the role of Director over 27 years of experience in the field of human services.  He served for the previous eight years as the founding Parental Accountability Court Coordinator for the Macon Judicial Circuit where he was recognized across the state as a leader in the field and helped mentor over 40 new court coordinators in various circuits.  
Mr. Giglio also served as a Social Services Supervisor within the Department of Human Services, Division of Family and Children Services; and as a Social Services Director within an acute care private nursing facility.  
Mr. Giglio is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served four years in Europe.  He finished his undergraduate degree through the University of Maryland while stationed in Germany and completed his graduate work at Asbury Theological Seminary located near Lexington, Kentucky.


Stacey Sitten, Case Manager

Stacey Sitten is the case manger for TAC.  She previously worked with Judge Fears for almost 7 years as the Parental Accountability Case manger. With over 26 years in case management experience she brings a wealth of knowledge to TAC.  Mrs. Sitten attended Brannell Institute were she studied business administration.

Chris Morgan, Certified Addiction Counselor, Level II

Chris Morgan is our Lead Counselor at Towaliga Accountability Courts. 
Mr. Morgan has worked for TAC for more than ten years and currently facilitates a variety of our Accountability Court classes.
